climate

Climate change refers to long-time changes occuring to the environment in temperature, humidity, precipitation, and other atmospheric conditions on Earth. These changes are highly driven in by human activities,  use of fossil fuels, deforestation and industrial processes, which increase the concentration of carbon gases in the atmosphere.
Concentration of this gases result to:
1.Rising temperatures; Global temperatures are increasing, leading to more frequent and intense heatwaves.
2.Melting ice and rising water sea levels: Glaciers and polar ice caps are melting, contributing to sea level rise.
3.Extreme weather events; increase in the frequency and severity of hurricanes, droughts, floods, and wildfires.
4.Ocean acidification;Increased carbon dioxide absorption by the oceans is making them more acidic, affecting marine life and rain water.
5.Ecosystem disruption; Changes in climate affect biodiversity, leading to shifts in habitat and species distribution.

Cooperation and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is lowly taken as most third world countries highly depend on carbon fuel. Despite this, transition to renewable energy sources, and implement sustainable practices tend to help in propergation against use of carbon fuel.
